At least 11 killed in Egypt clashes


Thousands of protesters backing deposed president Mohamed Morsi rallied across the country.

CAIRO (AFP) - At least 11 people were killed across Egypt on Friday as Islamist protesters clashed with police and civilian opponents, the health ministry said, raising its earlier toll of six dead.
Thousands of protesters backing deposed president Mohamed Morsi had rallied across the country before police moved in to disperse them, sparking clashes.
