Deepika Padukone, elder daughter of ace badminton player Prakesh Padukone and Ujjala Padukone was born on January 5th, 1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark and raised in Bangalore. Deepika grew up to be a badminton player just like her father and she was also a national badminton champion but soon she realized that sport is not her destination.
She gave up sports to take up modelling. Today, she is a successful Bollywood actress. Currently, Deepika Padukone has promising projects in her hand and she is now working on Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’ with Shahrukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan.
